Switching Over

Data Transfer

Out with the old, in with the new

From the moment we first start using our phones we start collecting data. This data soon amounts to a whole portfolio of our personal timeline with that device.  Contacts, messages, photos, notes  and often apps can not only be stored in many locations in our devices, but also on various cloud servers.

Not knowing just how to transfer all this information across to a new phone is one of the main reasons why we are hesitant in getting a new phone.  It is often the case that new phones are bought only to be stored away for months due to the fear of losing information when switching across.  It  isn't long until a current model of phone is outdated by its successor,  so it is worth getting to grips with your new phone a soon as you get it.

My service is a step by step walk-through, identfying what information is important to you and guiding you through all the stages required to  have the new device set up just how you want it.  By the end of this service you wll know how to use the new device and be able to access all the personal data that you transferred from your old device. The sigh of relief from seeing your old data appear on your new device is one i am thankfully well accustomed too.

Lost/ broken phone? - Don't despair!

Breaking or losing your mobile phone can feel like losing a part of you and it can be a very upsetting experience.  Thankfully automatic operations like systematic back-ups are becoming more commonplace so the likelihood of you losing everything from your device is less likely, but knowing how to recover all your data can still be a bit of a minefield.

I leave no stone unturned when it comes to recovering lost data and have many success stories where it would have appeared that all was lost.
